Anyhow.
So I really wanted to write about something that occurred in my life that really helped me put things in perspective. I have been having a tough time balancing school and my three jobs. This past Monday, I was in a rotten mood because of stress from school and work and stress of working so much and not having dinero. I was scheduled to meet with a client after work and before school. I had been collaborating with him on a logo design and was making final arrangements to it.
At the end of our meeting he went to the back and pulled out an amazing cashmere winter coat and proceeded to tell me the story on it. The coat belonged to his partner who passed away and had been sitting in a closet since then. He said that I looked about the same size and wanted to give me this coat. I was taken a back and shocked at this super kind gift.
On the drive home, I just sat in silence thinking of this really nice gesture that had just occurred. Here I was, complaining about being overworked and stressed and along came someone with a kind heart to remind me of the biggest blessing I had, which is being alive.
